Guardrails
noun1.Safety rules built into an AI system to stop it doing harmful things - think of them as the digital equivalent of bumpers at a bowling alley. When you hear that an AI "broke free from guardrails," it means someone found a way around those bumpers and the system started doing stuff it was never supposed to.
